Welcome to
my NZ Alfa Romeo "Boxer" Web Site
These pages are dedicated to an unhealthy
obsession with these Italian wonders. You'll also find info from the Merrylees Clan,
including recipes from my wife and Chef Justine, and Alfa Romeo info of course!

Here's my
wife's 1980 Alfasud Sprint Veloce 1.5 aka the "Yellow Peril" - now with
reconditioned Weber's! Only travelled 62,000km! It all started with her 1967 VW 1600 TL
Fastback (Type III), then a 1995 Holden Barina (Opel Corsa), then a 1980 Alfasud Super
1.5. I can only "borrow" it on the weekends. |
|
Here's JB's
$500 "Super Sud" with the reliable 145 1.6 "L". The first and last of
the "Boxers". The Super had to retire to make way for the Sprint. So sad! If
only we could get another one like this to race. If you have a "cheap" Sud to
sell... I'm still looking! |
|
Look what I
found! The new 147 waiting for a new owner... |
|
Here's the
family's "beast" - now with new factory "Speedline" alloys. It all
started with a 1967 Thames Freighter, 1964 MG Midget MKII, 196? Austin Mini 1100, 1982
Mazda 323 S/W, 1967 VW 1600 TL Fastback, 1995 Holden Barina (Opel Corsa), then the 1996
Alfa Romeo 145 1.6 "L". |

Good old
Alfasud nose without the bugs. |
